- Believe it or not, the FTC's job is not to help Novel, Lotus, etc., but
- to protect us - the consumers. Anytime a business has a monopoly position
- in a market the consumers are the ones who get hurt. Lack of competition
- results in lower quality products and higher prices. While other software
- vendors have an interest in what the FTC does with Microsoft they aren't
- the only reason for the FTC's actions.
