  25. Probably!  This is my experience today, which may be viewed as a kind of
  26. second evidence.

  28. Since I am not able to find any Scanner software that works with Mustek
  29. MFS-3000C flat-bed scanner under OS/2 for 3 months, I was "ordered" by my
  30. boss to re-partition the hard drive of our OS/2-only machine.  I installed
  31. OS/2 first (on logical D:) according to the suggestion of the manual.
  32. Then I started to install Mess-DOS 5.0 to the primary partition (C:).  The
  33. setup program insisted on formating drive D: -- it wants to take control of
  34. every-bit of the hard drive -- annoying?  The same thing happened when I
  35. started to install Winbloze garbage (I kicked it out 3 months ago, very
  36. happily; however, the scanner software -- damned Picture Publisher from
  37. MicroGrafx is a windoze program).

  39. In comparison, OS/2 is polite.  It simply does not care other un-formatted
  40. partitions.  Recall recently Mr. Sipples' post that NT refuses installation
  41. on machines with OS/2 already installed?  Come on, everybody, let's DUMP
  42. Mostly-Shit, anyway!
