- of USL. of course the question is, why are AT&T selling? ... the
- answer's simple ... people were complaining that one of the potential
- players in the workstation market was controlling the operating system!
- hence AT&T were selling before someone like the FTC investigated.

- also FYI, the "office of fair trading", the UK equivalent to the FTC
- (i think), is to investigate the commercial practices of MicroSoft(UK).
- they've had complaints from pc retailers here which, i assume, are similar
- to the US ones that you have to put MS-DOS on all machines sold to
- get discounts on the software.
