  28. But, you see, it won't work.  Few people would want Uniroyal Tiger Paws on
  29. their porche.  If, in your example, 95% of all porche buyers wanted
  30. Tiger Paws, then the dealer would probably sign an agreement with
  31. Uniroyal so they could get $30 tires for $8.  But since most people
  32. want higher quality tires, the dealer dare not do such a thing as sign on
  33. with Uniroyal.

  35. You are right.  Your analogy is no different than MS's and the bundling
  36. except that MOST PC buyers WANT "Uniroyal Tiger Paws" on their Porche.
  37. In which case, it is better (in terms of profit) for the vendor to
  38. acquire "Tiger Paws" for the cheapest amount possible.
