  12. Just went out and bought a SoundBlaster Pro today and went to set it up in
  13. windows so that I can get a better way of playing system sounds(in .wav format)
  14. than my pc speak which sounds sick. When I went to load in the drivers it told
  15. me it could not load in the Pro Wave and Midi driver because I have an old
  16. version of windows 3.1. Does anyone know what that means? Anyone know what 
  17. files I need to update or do I have to call Microsoft and get a new release?
  18. My windows is from the first batch of commercial releases of Windows 3.1.
  19. (bought it the day it came out)
