- We recently have been having problems with the HP Paintjet when trying
- to print color in Windows. It may be related to Netware, because the problem
- has appeared since we installed Netware support into everyone's copy. Two
- users so far have reported problems, with one problem disappearing afterward.
-
- We have everyone on 3.1, and we have the latest driver that I know of.
- We have drivers dated 6/9/92, and I've also tried the driver that comes with
- Windows for Workgroups, which is October, I think.
-
- Basically the problem is no colors will print. Paintbrush will go
- through the motions of printing, but nothing appears on the page, even with a
- fresh ink cartridge. Some apps like Excel will print in greyscale, but no
- color. I don't know where to look for a fix. The printer driver options are
- set OK, and I can't find any setting in an .ini file that has anything to do
- with the driver.
-
- Any information anybody might have would be appreciated, because we
- have a lot of Paintjets around here that may decide to stop printing in color
- soon....
