- After playing around some with my electic guitar and my Adlib Gold sound
- card, I was able to get the card to pass the sound through to my stereo
- speakers live. Additionally, if I turned on the Windows sound recorder
- applet and turned up the recording levels too high, I could get the overdriven
- "fuzz" effect; at least for the 60 seconds that the tape runs in the applet.
-
- I am wondering if there is some software out there that would allow one to take
- this further. I need a program that could deliver various guitar effects by
- bending the sound signal from the sound card's microphone line or microphone
- level inputs before passing them through for amplification or recording. I
- need this to happen "live" as I am not looking for a post-production system.
