  12. A friend of mine has problem with his Windows 3.1. 
  13. When he tries to save a file (using word for windows 2.0 or notepad) to
  14. *a floppy* (1.2M or 1.44M), it is always problem. The file size is 
  15. smaller (corrupted?) but if he saves it to hard drive, it is okey.
  16.  
  17. If he saves a file to a hard drive (from either W4w or notepad) 
  18. and copy using copy command (DOS) the file to a floppy, the file is okey. 
  19.  
  20. Hardware was tested okey by CHECKIT software.
  21.  
  22. Hardware configuration:
  23. 486DX/33 with AMI BIOS ....chipset SOLUTION 
  24. 4M SIMMs-60ns
  25. SVGA with TSENG ET4000 chipset (driver: ET4Turbo?)
  26. 1.2M TEAC and 1.44M TEAC floppy drives
  27. 200M Maxtor drive (IDE)
  28. SVGA monitor.....
  29. mouse (MS compatible)
