- I regularly work with a colleague who uses Word for the MAC, version 5.0,
- and I use Word for Windows 2.0. The trick is to save in W4W 2.0 format on
- both platforms. Apparently the converter for the MAC which translates W4W 2.
- 0 files is superior to the converter for the PC which translates Word for
- the MAC version 5.0. If you use these versions of the programs, there is
- only very minimal adjustments which must be made, even on very long
- documents featuring extensive graphics. However, earlier versions on either
- platform don't work that well together; e.g., forget about translating W4W 2.
- 0 equations into Word for the MAC version 4.0
