  11. This isn't strictly a Windows question, but I just installed 16MB
  12. of more RAM into my computer (for a total of 20MB) and was wondering
  13. if anyone could tell me what my machine should report for the amount
  14. of extended memory available.

  16. With the 4MB setup, it said "640K Base 3092K Extended". This makes
  17. sense (taking away 384K for the upper memory area, this adds up to
  18. 4MB). Now, it says "640K Base 15104K Extended". This seems too low.
  19. I checked that I set the DIP switches right, and I did (for 20MB with
  20. 4MB in Bank 0 and 16MB in Bank 1).

  22. Is this what the computer should say? Or should it be something like
  23. "640K Base 19000K Extended"?

  30. BTW, Thanx to everyone who helped with the Excel problems...it turned
  31. out to be a corrupt .EXE file.
