- Even with system 7.0 on the Mac, you MUST use Apple File Exchange to read
- and copy the PC file to your Mac hard drive. If not, the Mac will not
- recognize the disk and ask to format it. Use the "default" translation
- to transfer the file in binary. Unless you have DOS Mounter running, in
- which case you just pop in the disk.
-
- Note: When going from Mac to Pc Word, do not save the file on the Mac
- end as a Word for Windows 2.0 file. Just leave it as a Mac. word file.
- Let WFW 2.0 do the conversion and all (most) graphics and formatting will
- come over. For more info, read the convinfo.doc file that came with WFW
- 2.0. It will give you an idea of what can and cannot be transferred
- between platforms and also how to substitue fonts when translating.
- Don't expect to much in graphics conversions !
