  18. I use the original Graphics Ultra both on a 386/40 (ProComm Plus with a 
  19. v.32bis modem), and a 486/33 (TCP/IP based terminal emulator).  Scrolling
  20. is just wonderful.

  22. I suspect that you need to set "Terminal Update" to "Fast" under Procomm's
  23. Setup -> Terminal.  Doing single-character updates doesn't do wonders for
  24. the display speed.

  30. IMHO WinMarks are useless as it's far too narrow a benchmark.  One of my
  31. Ultras was originally a Paradise WD-based accelerator, which WinMarked 
  32. better than the Ultra.  In real use, though, it was sluggish, and scrolled
  33. horribly slowly -- and had buggy drivers (maybe Diamond wrote them?).  I
  34. returned it, paid another $150 and got an Ultra.
