- After you use piclab to scale and remap the gif file, you need to
- convert it to either PCX or TIFF format. Graphics Workshop is an
- excellent shareware product for doing this, and it's available for
- anonymous ftp at any Simtel mirror site.
-
- Then enter GEOS and fire up GeoDraw. Use the Import function (from
- the File menu) to import your PCX or TIFF file. Then make sure the
- image is "selected" (ie, has the little select boxes on it) and use
- the Edit menu to Cut or Copy it.
-
- When you've done that, fire up Preferences, select Background, and
- click on the "get background from clipboard" button. The image you
- cut or copied becomes your new background.
