- Ok here's the story. Run the SuperStor utilities program SSUTIL
- to check the disk and verify the file system. In other words, read the
- manual.

- Superstor ran into a bad spot on the disk when it was compressing the
- file system. It refused to move your files over it.

- If you hadn't deleted the files -- the SuperStor utility ssutil would
- enable you to fix the bad spots and recover the data with no problems.
- Right now you've got a file system inconsistancy that's making the
- Superstor driver mark it as a read only file system.

- Ssutil will correct the inconsistancy internally and tell you to run
- fsck -- errr... ooops I mean chkdisk to fix it for MS-DOS.

- Hell - I've got flaky Perstor PS180 controllers RLLing MFM drives and
- I've never had a problem that ssutil couldn't fix.
