- Help!
-
- Finding myself running out of space on my 120 Meg hard drive,
- I purchased SuperStore to compress my disk. Everything was going
- just fine until I decided to defragment the disk. It got about
- 2/3 through and then stopped, giving a message that it had found
- errors. It turned out there were 'errors' in 7 files, some of
- which I know had been running just fine before I started the
- mess. I thought I would just delete the files and reload them
- correctly. Much to my dismay, I discovered any effort to do
- anything to my drive resulted in a 'write protected' error.
-
- That's where I left it at 3 o'clock this morning. Any
- suggestions for a graceful recovery? Or shall I just go home
- and burn the SuperSTore disks and send the little crispy ashes
- back to the company? I should have just shelled out the bucks
- for a bigger hard drive...
