  13. Finding myself running out of space on my 120 Meg hard drive,
  14. I purchased SuperStore to compress my disk.  Everything was going
  15. just fine until I decided to defragment the disk.  It got about
  16. 2/3 through and then stopped, giving a message that it had found
  17. errors.  It turned out there were 'errors' in 7 files, some of
  18. which I know had been running just fine before I started the
  19. mess.  I thought I would just delete the files and reload them
  20. correctly.  Much to my dismay, I discovered any effort to do
  21. anything to my drive resulted in a 'write protected' error.
  22.  
  23. That's where I left it at 3 o'clock this morning.  Any
  24. suggestions for a graceful recovery?  Or shall I just go home
  25. and burn the SuperSTore disks and send the little crispy ashes
  26. back to the company?  I should have just shelled out the bucks
  27. for a bigger hard drive...
