- Hello,
- I have a CCD camera setup on my PC and would like to get a program
- /package that runs in MSDOS or MS Windows that would allow me to
- manipulate the image files from the camera. I would like it to:
-
- 1) Read in TIF file
- 2) Print out greyscale (256 if possible) on a postscript laser printer.
- [a good dithering capability]
- 3) Expand image to full page from 744x244-ish bitmap. [some type of
- interpolation]
- 4) Zoom into parts of image.
- 5) Process grey scale into false color image
-
- I have used Photoshop on a Mac and wonder if there is something
-
- similar or better on a PC.
- Secondly my CCD camera outputs raw greyscale output. I have to
- write a converter from this raw data to a standard bitmap format.
- Is there any canned routine/package I can buy for doing this???
-
- My final question is what postscript laser printer would have
- 256 or even 64 greyscale capabilities. I am looking at the
- HP laserjet 4M, but am open to suggestions.
-
-
- THANKS ALOT
