  15.                     LINUX HARDWARE COMPATIBLITY LIST

  19.      Welcome to the Linux Hardware Compatibility List.  It is my hope that
  20. this will be of help to people and that it will do away with a lot of the
  21. will this work with my system questions.  I also hope that this will help
  22. people who want to buy a system to run Linux or are in the process of
  23. upgradeing their system and want to make sure that the hardware they buy is
  24. compatible with Linux (especially for item's such as SCSI controller's and
  25. CD-ROM's).
  26.   Unlike my Linux BBS List this will only be posted to c.o.l. and c.o.l.a.,
  27. this is to make it easier for me to post.  Besides both c.o.l. and
  28. c.o.l.a. are both gated to FidoNet.  For now at least I will attempt to
  29. post this list weekly, near the beginning of the week.  
  30.      As this list is in it's infancy (conception is more like it), I need
  31. LOTS of input.  Both in the form of data for the List and suggestion's on
  32. how to make improvement's.  You can reach me by sending E-Mail to me at

  34.      If you are wondering about a specific piece of Hardware and you don't
  35. find it in this list all I can say is I don't know at this time but as soon
  36. as I find out it will be in the next list.  If you find out that it work's
  37. from some other source, i.e. a friend or trying it out, PLEASE let me know.
