- LINUX HARDWARE COMPATIBLITY LIST
-
- VERSION: 0.1 DATE: 01 JAN 92
-
- Welcome to the Linux Hardware Compatibility List. It is my hope that
- this will be of help to people and that it will do away with a lot of the
- will this work with my system questions. I also hope that this will help
- people who want to buy a system to run Linux or are in the process of
- upgradeing their system and want to make sure that the hardware they buy is
- compatible with Linux (especially for item's such as SCSI controller's and
- CD-ROM's).
- Unlike my Linux BBS List this will only be posted to c.o.l. and c.o.l.a.,
- this is to make it easier for me to post. Besides both c.o.l. and
- c.o.l.a. are both gated to FidoNet. For now at least I will attempt to
- post this list weekly, near the beginning of the week.
- As this list is in it's infancy (conception is more like it), I need
- LOTS of input. Both in the form of data for the List and suggestion's on
- how to make improvement's. You can reach me by sending E-Mail to me at
- healyzh@holonet.net .
- If you are wondering about a specific piece of Hardware and you don't
- find it in this list all I can say is I don't know at this time but as soon
- as I find out it will be in the next list. If you find out that it work's
- from some other source, i.e. a friend or trying it out, PLEASE let me know.
-
- As you can see I need LOTS and LOTS of input to make this list work!
