  18. that creates the mailbox, it is smail...so I chown'd smail so that
  19. it had the suid set...still owned by the user who sent it :(

  21.     I just tried suid'ing elm also...that still doesn't allow you
  22. to read the folder.

  24.     This is most curious :(  as was stated, the 'mail' command reads it
  25. without a problem (even though the user doesn't own themailbox), but
  26. elm doesn't...with same permissions.
