  20. Is the IDE controller on the local bus or on the ISA bus? Also what's the
  21. drive speed (RPM or rotational latency and track-to-track seek time). If
  22. it is an ISA controller, could you let me know the name of the controller

  37. Hmm. These number are really good. Beats mine by quite a margin
  38. (550000 and 640000 respectively). My ISA/IDE controller is a generic one
  39. (The 'manual' says it is  an AB-757; doesn't say who manufactures it).
  40. Are there better controller on the market? If so, could someone lemme
  41. know which ones are good? The above figures are on a 11MHz bus. Increasing
  42. it to 13MHz drops (yes, drops) the performance by about 200000 bytes/sec.
