- Folks-
-
- I have installed linux, and all of the X diskettes, no problems, love
- this stuff, but.....
-
- I have a CTX CVP-5468NI 14" monitor, and a Tseng labs video card of
- unknown origin...(I have the clocks though), the manual and software
- included with my video card are different than my card (the software
- drivers included with my card do not recognize the card and complain)
-
- The card's chip says Tseng Labs ET4000 on it, and I have the clocks
- speeds that are printed on the crystals on the cards.
-
- When I set up my Xconfig file with these clocks, no matter what mode I
- set, get a flickering black and white screen, with no way to reset it,
- other than a hard reset. The screen is not the gray x crosshatch, but
- rather flickering lines, and a white interspersed field...not
- recognizable as anything really.
-
- the clocks that I have are 25.175,28.322,36,44.9,40.0,65.0 MHZ
-
- The card itself is labeled Tseng Labs.(not only the chip, but the card
- also)
-
- any info, or Xconfigs that would work, or hints in how to pursue this
- would really be appreciated.
-
- direct email is fine.
