- FAS is a Freeware serial driver for commercial SysV Unices that creates
- the devices named ttyFM?? and ttyF??.

- The advantage I see in this concept is that the driver itself is doing
- the locking of the devices for ingoing and outgoing connections.
- There is no need of special applications or all applications using the
