- I need urgent help to recover from the partial install of the series 'b'
- disks. Apparently the 6th floppy was either of marginal quality, or not
- seated quite right in the drive sending sysinstall into a seemingly
- infinite loop displaying some error message about not being able to read
- it. So, I had to stop it with Ctrl-C. But then, when I wanted to
- reinstall the series, it would not recognize the first (b1) disk and
- kept asking for it every time I hit the Enter key.
-
- Since the floppies are write-protected, there couldn't be anything
- overwritten on them by sysinstall, so I assume the initial (partial)
- install prevents the repeat.
-
- What am I to do to resume the unfinished installation of series 'b'
- floppies?
-
- Thanks for listening despite of the Holiday! ,
