- Our family did this for out grandmother who was in a wheelchair.
- She carried the phone around with her everywhere in the house.

- On a related note, we always let the phone ring at least 10
- times before hanging up. We never had any problem letting it
- ring that many times. How long was the original poster looking
- to let the phone ring?
