  17. Many authors use pseudonyms. To pluck one from my bookshelf, if Ed McBain
  18. were to start posting about oppressed smurfs in soc.culture.dwarf, 
  19. he'd soon get flamed into a crisp, and would land in million kill files.

  22. oh....Cordwinder Bird, and then Mark Twain, and then.....

  24. You get the idea. If he uses one name, and establishes a net-reputation
  25. to go with it, and sticks to it, how can it make an iota of difference
  26. that his name is really Evan Hunter?

  28. On the other hand, there ARE net-assholes, NOT on the WELL, who
  29. regularly change their text names, to defeat nn's kill files, I guess.
