- Codex modems are made by Motorola if my memory serves me correctly. Chances
- are what is being offered here is a synchronous leased-line modem. Now if
- you have a leased line and a host that wants to talk sync, that's great. But
- if you want to dialup and talk async, it's a WOMBAT.
