- From file note.10 on gatekeeper.dec.com, ftp dir /pub/DEC/magic/notes:
-
- [...]
- An earlier release of MAGIC, version 4, has been ported
- to both the DOS and OS/2 operating systems.
- The DOS version contains a fully functional editor,
- but is limited in memory size, as well as some other
- functions (no CIF file exchange).
- The OS/2 version is complete and requires
- 2 Megabytes of RAM. Both versions require EGA
- or VGA color graphics and a Microsoft-compatible mouse.
- Both versions of the software are being made
- available in binary form to anyone in the U.S. by
- the MOSIS Users' Group for just a $25 handling fee.
