  21. As Jack Woehr said, Forth, Inc. has done a DPMI version of our 32 bit
  22. polyFORTH for the 80396, but our soon to be released version is currently
  23. running under VCPI (i.e. Desqview).  The DPMI version had some severe I/O
  24. throughput restrictions that made it undesirable for our most recent needs. 
  25. However, we are considering the implications of the Windows environment for
  26. our next version.  Windows NT might be able to give us access to what we need,
  27. better that DPMI/Windows 3.0 did.  On the other hand, if Microsoft Windows is
  28. not what you need right now, then definitely check how our Beta works.  Call
  29. Randy Liberknight for prices at (800) 55-FORTH.
