- As Jack Woehr said, Forth, Inc. has done a DPMI version of our 32 bit
- polyFORTH for the 80396, but our soon to be released version is currently
- running under VCPI (i.e. Desqview). The DPMI version had some severe I/O
- throughput restrictions that made it undesirable for our most recent needs.
- However, we are considering the implications of the Windows environment for
- our next version. Windows NT might be able to give us access to what we need,
- better that DPMI/Windows 3.0 did. On the other hand, if Microsoft Windows is
- not what you need right now, then definitely check how our Beta works. Call
- Randy Liberknight for prices at (800) 55-FORTH.
