  13. I need to chose a compiler for two C++ courses, one at the
  14. sophomore level and another at the graduate level. The FAQ has a
  15. list of compilers (Q5) and a list of levels (Q126), but does not
  16. say the level of each compiler and it is rather sketchy.  E.g., it
  17. repeatedly refers to "USL", but could not find what this is.  To
  18. vendors: I am interested only in compilers for Suns and/or
  19. Sequents, but please read below.

  22. I will summarize all data I receive---in particular, phone and/or
  23. address of supplier, cost (both educational and commercial), and
