  13.   A preliminary version of my NeXT gopher client that can view MIME
  14. documents is available from:
  15.      panda.uiowa.edu (128.255.40.201)
  16.        /pub/Gopher1.3M.tar.Z
  17. This is a NeXTstep 3.0 application.

  19.   This version of Gopher is based on V 1.3.01 from Jim LeBay with my
  20. own additions for the MIME component.  In this version, the MIME decoder
  21. is not complete - it was done on rather short notice and currently does
  22. a minimal set of rich text and images (tiff rather than the standard gif).
  23. I plan to extend the client to do the complete MIME spec in the near future.

  25.   I also have an authoring tool that lets you create documents with the
  26. customary NeXT drag-and-drop paradigm.  This and the Gopher client will
  27. be released in source form when completed.

  29.   You can find some example MIME gopher documents on the University of 
  30. Iowa's gopher server panda.uiowa.edu port 8337.  Look in the following
  31. directories:

  33.     University of Iowa Information/Radiology

  35.   Also, I've got a grant from Apple to port this to the Mac, so I should
  36. have a Mac client with MIME support early next year.
