- I'm a biologist working on vertebrate population dynamics. I'd
- like to map interspecific patterns of pop. dynamics of animals found
- in the continental US onto a variety of biogeographical variables,
- including weather patterns, altitude, vegetation type, and so forth.
-
- Two questions. 1) Is such a thing possible with GIS? (I have
- not used GIS applications before). 2) What sort of general
- information is available for the entire US, and how would one
- access it?
-
- Thanks in advance.
