- I'm not a cisco engineer (though I play one on TV...:-), so take anything I
- say with a grain of salt...
-
- We intend to use OSPF on our network with BGP border routers. The release
- notes for 9.1 say that "OSPF may stop working after 49 days. The workaround
- is to deconfigure, then reconfigure OSPF." WHAT???!!!!!!!
-
- This is a known bug in 9.1(1) which I believe is fixed in the first maintenance
- release.
-
- What is the software version we should run on these routers in order to get
- the best (most stable) OSPF and BGP performance?
-
- If you don't need variable-length subnets, then I would guess the latest 9.0
- code would be more stable. Otherwise, the latest 9.1 stuff (not 9.1(1) - get
- the maintenance release that follows if it's been released).
