  24. I would suspect that you have a modem setup problem.
  25. What is your setup string?  What settings do you have set in the modem?
  26. What software are you using?  Could it be the software?  Could be...

  28. We use PCBoard 14.5a/10 and have had the PM14400FXSA up and running
  29. for about 5 months now and have had NO PROBLEMS.  Better than 20 callers
  30. a day on average with all sorts of speeds, and 0 problems.

  32. I would review how you are setup and carefully get everything right.
  33. There are several utilities on the PPI BBS that could be helpful to you.
  34. If you are using PCBoard there is the PCBmodem.exe program which includes
  35. support for the PM14400FXSA in the setup and will do all the settings 
  36. for you.
