- Hi
-
- I'm also looking for the same information, although only for ISA motherboards.
- I would appreciate it very much if you could forward any mail that you receive.
-
- I managed to get hold of the Picture Packer card, but it was SO SLOW, not that
- much faster than JPEG done in software. It didn't come with hardware
- quantization either, so this also slowed things down since windows was having
- to do the quantization for the bitblt!!
-
- If you can, please include the price, performance and features(e.g does it come
- with hardware quantization) and whether it comes with a DLL or some sort of
- support for programming(NB programming api, NOT a windows program that acts like
- wingif etc, I need to call the card from my code to do the decompression)
- under windows. Please indicate whether the SDK costs extra(and if so how much)
- or whether it is bundled with the card like the Picture Packer card.
-
- Basically I'm looking for the cheapest JPEG card that comes with a SDK and which
- will do the decompression in under a second.
-
- Thanks
