  20.   Infoplus is a program that, like Microsoft MSD, or Quarterdeck Manifest,
  21. displays various pages of information detailing various aspects of your
  22. computer's hardware and resident software.
  23.  
  24.   Unlike the others, Infoplus details many resident drivers and programs,
  25. such as Hyperdisk, Stacker, Microsoft Mouse, QEMM, and more. It also
  26. recognizes many VGA chipsets, and details information about them.

  28. Changes by Andrew Rossmann v1.56 (12/30/92)
  29. All    : The AP command now accepts a filename for automatic output.
  30.          Added an NP command switch. When specified, INFOPLUS will not
  31.           attempt to read the partition table from the hard disk. This
  32.           fixes a problem on some SCSI drives or controllers.
  33.          Added an F command switch. This tell Infoplus to leave 16550
  34.           FIFO's enabled.
  35.          Reduced potential conflict with CBIS PowerLAN redirector when
  36.           checking for the true DOS version (since DOS 5 can change it.)
  37.          Reduced chances of false data being returned by some pages when
  38.           running in an OS/2 DOS session.
  39. Page 1 : Added detection of HP 95LX.
  40. Page 3 : Unless Windows 3 enhanced mode is detected, will now check for
  41.           both VCPI and DPMI.
  42. Page 6 : VESA will try the next mode even if no information is returned
  43.           from the current one. (Thanks to Joerg.Prust@gmd.de for finding
  44.           this one.)
  45. Page 7 : Added extra information about the mouse, primarily if you have
  46.           Microsoft Mouse driver version 7.00 or newer, or compatible.
  47. Page 8 : Changed the Serial Port detection method. Also, 16550 FIFO's
  48.           are disabled unless the 'F' command is given on the command
  49.           line.
  50.          Modified the Sound Blaster detection to restore modified
  51.           ports. Should fix 'lost mouse' problems.
  52.          Added Gravis UltraSound detection. (untested)
  53. Page 9 : If DOS 5 is detected, INFOPLUS will display the revision letter,
  54.           and if DOS is using the HMA, or is based in ROM.
  55. Page 10: CDROM detection should work, but higher risk of false detection.
  56. Page 15: Added several partition type names.
  57. Page 18: Added Advanced Power Managment Specification.
  58.          Corrected 386^Max Windows support info.
  59.          Added extra information about Hyperdisk for versions 4.50 or
  60.           newer.
  61.          If Stacker is found, will display drive letters used, and what
  62.          drive letters have been swapped, if any.
