  19. COSMOS version 16.04 is a program which provides astronomical
  20. simulations the same way as seen in a planetarium.  COSMOS will show
  21. the past, present and future skies as viewed from anywhere on Earth.
  22. The program will display the position (with real time updating) of the
  23. planets and comets in orbit around our Sun as well as calcu- late
  24. specific data about celestial bodies.  COSMOS will even display the
  25. moons of Jupiter as they orbit the planet.

  27. Program options allow the user to select the date and time to view, the
  28. direction of view, the viewer's latitude and longitude on Earth, and
  29. much more.  Using the display updating parameters COSMOS can display a
  30. complete day's movement of the heavens, or demonstrate the retrograde
  31. motion of the planets.

  33. COSMOS will run on any DOS based system (DOS version 2.0 or greater)
  34. which has SuperVGA, VGA, EGA, CGA or Hercules graphics and a hard disk.
  35. Microsoft Mice are also supported.
