- All good clean RMS stuff. To get into the stuff the previous poster
- described as the "file system", you have to head for the I/O User's
- book. ("User's"? That one is one of the more formidable volumes....)

- I personally believe VAXCRTL is a serious impediment to DEC's claims of
- "openness" in VMS. Life's too short to have to go re-implementing half
- the RTL whenever you try to get anything done because the standard stuff
- is too slow, too buggy or more often than not, both.
