- Hello all archetecture wizes,
-
- I have a rather stupid question to ask. I have a Packard Bell 386sx
- machine (Best Buy special was all I could afford at the time) and would like to
- upgrade if possible. I don't want to get a whole new machine (or mother board)
- but just replace the CPU if possible. Is it possible to replace the sx chip
- with a dx chip (486 or 386) or only a hight Mz 386sx chip... (Address lines?)
- ... Please reply by direct mail only (no need to waste more bandwidth than
- I have already), and no flames please... I hope to learn ALL (right..) of it
- soon.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Dwayne
