  24. Anyone thinking of relocating in Quebec should be aware that if they
  25. plan to have children in English school in Quebec they must apply for
  26. the children's "eligibility for instruction in English" certificates
  27. BEFORE obtaining permanent resident or landed immigrant status.

  29. Once it can no longer be proven that one is only a "temporary resident"
  30. in Quebec, one's children will be forced to attend French school here.
  31.  
  32. It does not matter if your family has lived, worked and played and been
  33. educated in English for generations. Once your "temporary" status is no
  34. longer verifiable you will have less rights as an anglophone family
  35. in this province.
