- Hi All,
- I have a client who wants to run a CD on his ODT system. The
- problem is that it doesn't seem to work... His CD player is a
- Chinnon CDR-435 that works just fine under DOS, but when the
- CD is linked into the kernal, hwconfig doesn't see it. When
- trying to access the drive, he gets a SROM not ready error.
-
- I know that this CD isn't on the SCO approved list, and chinnon
- doesn't have any UNIX drivers. Does anyone have any ideas? He
- is trying no to have to buy a new CD player (he had the CD before
- the UNIX...) The system configuration is with an AHA1542B SCSI
- host adapter, using the built-in ad drivers.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Mark
