  13. Hi All,
  14.    I have a client who wants to run a CD on his ODT system.  The 
  15. problem is that it doesn't seem to work...  His CD player is a 
  16. Chinnon CDR-435 that works just fine under DOS, but when the 
  17. CD is linked into the kernal, hwconfig doesn't see it.  When 
  18. trying to access the drive, he gets a SROM not ready error.

  20.    I know that this CD isn't on the SCO approved list, and chinnon
  21. doesn't have any UNIX drivers.  Does anyone have any ideas?  He
  22. is trying no to have to buy a new CD player (he had the CD before
  23. the UNIX...)  The system configuration is with an AHA1542B SCSI
  24. host adapter, using the built-in ad drivers.
