- Subsequent to my posted question, Dell Technical Support has told me that
- ODT 2.0 will run on the Dell 466/M but only in VGA (640x480) mode. They
- are waiting (and waiting) for SCO to come out with a driver for the S3
- chip implementation on the motherboard. (It sounded like SCO has had
- access to the Dell implementation for some time even though the machines
- are quite new.) I thought maybe I could use an old NEC Multisync Graphics
- Engine (which is horribly slow but it does support high resolution) that I
- have in my filing cabinet but it is apparently not supported by SCO either.
- My supervisor isn't very amenable to letting me buy a new video card for
- use until SCO puts out a S3 driver for the Dell.
-
- So I vote for SCO get this driver out soon!
