- Well, the most obvious thing is that you did indeed get a parity error
- from your memory. This panic occurs when the system receives an NMI,
- and then tries to reproduce the NMI by touching all of memory (AT
- machines don't tell you where a parity error happened). In your case,
- the OS found that your system generated an NMI at address 0x006C710E.
- Currently, the OS does not map out bad pages of memory and continue,
- even if it isn't in kernel memory. So, it panics. If it happens again,
- note the address and see if it is within the same bank of memory. If
- it is, you may have a bad SIM. On the other hand, a power spike could
- have caused it, or, unfortunately, a lot of other hardware specific
- problems.

- upgrade to ODT 2.0; there is no way for the OS to generate an NMI.
