- I created an account today with eight characters on two machines
- with an eithernet connection. Using rlogin from one machine to
- the other the login fails the first time.
-
- I then created an account on both machines with seven characters
- and rlogin was able to login on the remote machine the first time.
-
- I do not have this problem logging into the machine directly from
- a terminal.
-
- I use the rlogin program at the end of .profile ie rlogin machine
- -l accountname
-
- Before I assume this is a bug, has someone else seen this problem
- arise ? - I don't have the version number of the ftp handy but
- it is a early release.
-
- thanks in advance for any input!
