- Slight correction here. I doubt SCO's driver is set for 5mb/s, causing the
- bottle neck, I think the problem is in the bus of the PC. I have this board,
- and when I got it I found out about a test you can run on the board through DOS
- debug command. It writes data back to the machine, and if you get any errors
- you have to down grade the DMA speed on the Adaptec. I started at 8mb/s and
- had to go all the way down to 5mb/s running this DOS debug command. I never
- got anywhere near the SCO driver. A friend of mine was able to run at 5.8 (or
- some number greater than 5 but less than 6) mb/s on his PC running DOS and
- Interactive UNIX.
