- Hello Everyone,
-
- I had an interesting problem pointed out to me when a friend
- tried to "finger" my account on my SCO ODT 2.0 system.
-
- When he "fingered" my account, rather than display the
- contents of the .plan file, the finger command stated there was no
- .plan file. When I logged in to check there was in fact a .plan file
- there. When I fingered myself locally on the machine, the .plan file
- was displayed as it should have been. But if I finger my account from
- a remote host, the contents of the .plan file is NOT displayed and
- instead says "No Plan". The permissions on the file are set so all can
- read the .plan file but only the owner can write. Can someone tell me
- what I need to do so that my .plan file is displayed when I am
- remotely fingered?
