  16. Huh. I was at a non-alcoholic New Year's party, and it was great
  17. fun. Bunch of us went out to dinner, and then to a contradance up
  18. in Concord, MA. Some were dressed up, some were dressed "down",
  19. and nobody was drinking anything but lemonade, tea, or coffee.

  21. Happy New Year, everyone. I've been *very* busy for the past week,
  22. ever since I got back from my pre-Xmas visit to Natalie and N'Orleans.
  23. I had my kids visiting, including Evan's lovely girlfriend. Also this
  24. was the week I had to get my quarterly Newsletter into envelopes and
  25. bags to be collected by the mail-people on Monday morning.

  27. Trying to catch up with listmail!  I have tickets for the theatre
  28. for January 6, but if the party is *definite* I will try to talk
  29. my friends into changing the date...
