- I agree. Many people complain about hating the task of undecorating the
- Christmas tree, either because they dislike the work itself or because
- they're sad that Christmas is over. I rather enjoy it. If I were in
- Starkville right now, I might well undecorate the house at this very moment.
- OTOH, I like the Santa Gator I bought in N.O. and hung on the tree the other
- day. Maybe I won't take it down until the 31st -- the last day to let a
- xmas tree stay up without risking bad luck. Did we discuss this topic last
- year? Some people believe that it's bad luck to take the tree down before
- NY's Day. Others (like me) believe that it's bad luck for it to stay up
- past Dec. 31.
