- Because the Redemptorists used to give retreats at our church and
- they more or less claimed ownership of it. It doesn't surprise me
- that it would have spread beyond that ownership (if that's indeed what
- happened). In my various years of fairly intense involvement in
- the church, I never heard of it doing so, so it never occured to me
- to think that it might have. As I said, that was based on a memory
- of over thirty year ago, so ....
