  23. I only started my shopping on Monday evening.... only got there because Kevin
  24. dragged me out to do it. I took Helen to buy her presents yesterday and tonight
  25. I'm taking Tony over to Charlestown Mall..... tonight is the last night
  26. shopping before Christmas. Last Year on Christmas Eve the shops were open to
  27. midnight but they're closing at 5.30pm tomorrow. If I didn't have my 6 year old
  28. daughter who still believes in Santa then I doubt that I would get much
  29. pleasure out of Christmas at all.

  31. In Australia the Christmas spirit seems to be really lacking this year. One
  32. blessing - Prime Minister Paul Keating has declared a 'politic-free' Christmas,
  33. no politician is allowed to talk to the media until after the New Year. :-)
  34. It will be great if it works but somehow I keep thinking he's got Buckley's
  35. of getting the Opposition to keep their mouths shut.
