- I never bothered to try. If I got bent out of shape every time someone took
- a deity's name in vain within earshot, I'd spend half my life angry.:-/
- It's not worth the bother. As to the Pope question, I'd say it was just
- incredibly rude, although it might well have been an accurate statement back
- before the Reformation. Even further back, some popes were allowed to be
- married.

- I can hear it now...some pretty young thing is seen entering one of the
- Borgia popes' living quarters, or trying to. The guard asks her where
- she's going and what business she has in there of all places. She says,
- "I'm going to f*** the pope." Then the guard, not being stupid, passes her
- in without further delay.....
