  18. Good question, Dr. Bauer!  I would have mentioned it also in my
  19. congratulatory message but I thought it was best to refrain from negative
  20. thoughts.  In other word, I didn't want to be a party crusher. ;-)

  22. If I had to make a New Year Day's prediction, I would predict that --
  23. just as all other post-communist governments of Eastern Europe became
  24. very quickly unpopular due to the difficulties they had to handle -- so
  25. will the Meciar government be rather disliked a year from now.  Just
  26. mark my word on that.
